Is that a bee the spider caught? That's pretty big prey! I'm interested where you positioned yourself for this shot; were you waiting there with the camera on a tripod? Did you see this and quickly snap it?

Yes I believe it is a bee. No tripod Daroru just walking across a field and saw it on the Thistle and snapped about three or four shots before I moved on. I had never seen a white and pink spider before.
