After many days of rain here in Northwestern Ontario I went out to Kakabeka to take some pictures with my friend Lyndsay. In the back ground you can hear the sound of alarms going off as more water is released from the dam up stream. A warning to anyone in restricted areas to get to a safe area. Kakabeka Falls is a waterfall on the Kaministiquia River which is close to the village of Kakabeka Falls. It is the second highest waterfall in Ontario after Niagara Falls, and is nicknamed "The Niagara of the North".
Fabulous shot. Interesting caption.
