Further down the shore, looking east across a frozen Lake Superior, with Pie Island 9km across the lake, I started back across and down the shore, walking carefully and slowly, wanting to savour every moment of this morning. My movements seemed in slow motion. Looking out across the lake, I see my friend Jay laying on it, taking his last few shots. I yelled thru my balaclava that I was finished for the morning. He yells back, "I think my ass is frozen!" Who would have guessed I'd see the first frozen full moon of the season. With all his movements, his shirt and multi layered sweater had given way to his butt being exposed to the bitter elements. My other friend, Paul, was already in the warm comfort of the car. Time for some hot chocolate.
Funny story. Another fabulous image. Still looks otherworldly.

It really is otherworldly. What a sight! You are very lucky to see this kind of landscape Morris. Beautiful work.
