Description - Architect: Brown & Vallance - This was the first 'skyscraper' in the lakehead area. - The building was designated as a heritage site in 2004. - The building has 12 'Lanterns' on the top of the building - The building served as Port Arthur City Hall from 1913 to 1969. - The building now serves as the headquarters of Thunder Bay Hydro, and location of Thunder Bay Public Utilities Commission. - The exterior has the coats of arms of all 9 provinces in confederation in 1913, as well as carved human heads, flora and fauna, and other decorations.
